Amitabh Sinha
Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder

Amitabh has more than twenty years of experience across enterprise software, end user computing, mobile, and database software. Amitabh co-founded Workspot with Puneet Chawla and Ty Wang in August 2012.

Prior to Workspot, Amitabh was the General Manager for Enterprise Desktops and Apps at Citrix Systems. In his five years at Citrix, Amitabh was VP Product Management for XenDesktop and VP Engineering for the Advanced Solutions Group.

Amitabh has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Puneet Chawla
Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder

As CTO at Workspot, Puneet is responsible for the technology vision and engineering execution for the company.

Prior to founding Workspot, Puneet was an Entrepreneur in Residence at Redpoint Ventures. Before Redpoint, Puneet was the founding engineer on VMware’s Horizon product line , a business that went from $0 to over $150 million in revenue over five years. From 2009-2011, Puneet was part of the Office of the CTO at VMware and drove early efforts at the intersection of cloud and end user computing.

Puneet received a MS in Computer Science from the University of Florida and an BS in Mechanical Engineering from Punjab University, India. He holds over 10 patents in the areas of VDI and Cloud Computing.

Brad Peterson
VP of Marketing

Brad leads marketing strategy and operations for the company’s vision of securely delivering desktops, workstations and apps from 50 regions of Microsoft Azure around the world.

Previously, Brad was Vice President of Marketing at DocuSign (IPO), the global leader in eSignature and Digital Transaction Management. Before DocuSign, Brad worked with Citrix for almost a decade where he built the global EBC program, produced solutions videos driving millions in pipeline, and was a regular keynote speaker for Citrix and partner events globally. Brad joined Citrix in 2004 through the acquisition of Net6, where he relocated to the Citrix EMEA headquarters in Switzerland and launched the new security appliance business over a two-year period to a $30M run rate. Brad has also held executive roles at Net6 (acquired by Citrix), Octane (acquired by E.piphany), BayStone (acquired by Remedy) and Auspex (IPO).

Brad holds a Master of Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering degree from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science, Electrical & Computer Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Jimmy Chang
VP of Products and Alliances

As VP of Products and Alliances at Workspot, Jimmy is responsible for product direction, customer success, and technology partnership strategy.

Prior to Workspot, Jimmy held various senior technical product, marketing, and strategy roles at software, networking, and video compression companies, including Citrix where he was Director of Product Management and Strategic Alliances, responsible for XenDesktop product management and building the ecosystem strategy with technology partners including Google, HP, and Dell.

Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

Prasad Krothapalli
VP of Engineering

As VP of Engineering at Workspot, Prasad is responsible for the leading the company’s world class team of engineers located in the US and India.

Previously, Prasad has lead globally based development teams at early stage start-ups and large companies, including NComputing and Citrix. He most recently held the position as VP of Engineering at NComputing, a leader in Desktop and Application virtualization solutions. Before NComputing, he was the Sr. Director of Engineering of Enterprise Desktops and Application Division at Citrix where he lead Citrix XenDesktop 7 development teams. Previously Prasad was Director and Architect at Everypath where he built Mobile Application Gateway and Mobile Application Platforms.

Prasad holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from The Ohio State University.


Richard Lo
Chief Sales Officer

Richard brings more than 25 years of operational experience building innovative companies and delivering information technology solutions to enterprises. His experience includes early stage, angel funded and venture-backed companies, as well as a number of the technology industry’s largest organizations. Richard is fortunate to have been a part of several successful acquisition exits and one company IPO.

Prior to Workspot, Richard was a seed investor and Chief Revenue Officer at Prevoty, a leader in runtime application self-protection and the Chief Revenue Officer at Moovweb, an innovative mobile web software company. Before Moovweb, Richard was VP of WW Sales and Business Development for NetBase Solutions. Prior to that, he was VP of Enterprise Sales at i365, a Seagate Company. He joined i365 through the company’s acquisition of MetaLINCS, where he was the VP of Field Operations responsible for Sales, Business Development, Consulting and Support. Richard was also VP of WW Sales for Trigo Technologies, the leader in Product Information Management. Trigo was acquired by IBM in 2004 and became the foundation for IBM’s very successful and fast growing Master Data Management software business. Richard also held Executive Management positions at several innovative companies including Verity (IPO in 1995) and Brightware (acquired by Firepond).

Richard holds a B.S.E.E. with honors from the University of the Pacific and was captain of the Collegiate Crew team.


Maryam Alexandrian-Adams
Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Maryam is responsible for setting operational strategy, defining actionable goals for driving growth and overseeing day-to-day company operations.

Maryam brings to the Workspot team more than 25 years of experience helping build world-class companies and advising executives at companies of all stages. In addition to serving on the boards of both public and private companies, she has held several executive leadership roles, including Chief Sales Officer at Wyse, where she played a key role in the company’s return to market share leadership. Most recently she served as global vice president of the Cloud Client Computing Division at Dell, where she led worldwide sales and field marketing to significant revenue growth.

Maryam holds a Bachelor of Science, Computer Science from California State University and attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business Executive Program.




Harry Labana
Chief Customer Officer

Labana will focus on fine-tuning all aspects of Workspot’s business to continue yielding outstanding customer outcomes during a time of high-velocity growth.

Former VMware VP Management Services & Strategy and VP Products, EUC, SVP & CPO CloudVolumes, Citrix and AppSense VP & CTO and VP Goldman Sachs.

Most recently, Harry (@harrylabana) led product and engineering for the portfolio of products that represented Management Services for VMware EUC. He also led the strategy for the Horizon business.

He is the former VP & CTO of the Citrix Desktop Division and AppSense. Additionally, he was SVP and Chief Product Officer at CloudVolumes, which was acquired by VMware in August 2014. Prior to these roles, Harry made the switch to the vendor side from Goldman Sachs where he was a VP in their technology division.

He was recognized by CRN as a “Top 25 Disrupter” for 2012 along side some of the most influential names in the industry and holds several US patents.

Harry holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic systems engineering with honors from the University of Manchester and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Tarun Pandit
VP of Business Development

As VP of Business Development at Workspot, Tarun has a cross-functional role and is responsible for building the vertical solutions strategy, cultivating external strategic partnerships, and assisting the CEO on company strategy.

Previously, Tarun worked at Capricorn Investment Group, where he invested in various private technology businesses across multiple sectors and geographies. Prior to Capricorn, he worked in public equity research at Dodge & Cox focused on the pharmaceutical and biotech sector. He started his career as a management consultant with Silver Oak Partners.

Tarun holds a MS in Geohpysics & Civil Engineering and an MBA from UC Berkeley.

Mark Templeton
Advisory Board Member

Mark Templeton is a technology entrepreneur and mentor. He recently retired as director, president, CEO of Citrix Systems [Nasdaq: CTXS], the leading software provider for secure delivery of business applications and data. Millions of people around the world use Citrix products to work better and live better. Under his leadership, Citrix grew from startup to global citizen, serving more than 300,000 customers, employing 10,000 professionals and generating over $3 billion in annual revenue. Templeton also nurtured a design-centered culture based on the values of respect, integrity, and humility, and earning Citrix multiple “best places to work” awards.

Today, Mr. Templeton is Executive Chairman of 4Sense, Inc. – a human behavior recognition company. He also advises with pre-revenue and early stage startup teams in a variety of technology. He is also a director at Adaptive Insights, Equifax, Arista Networks and Keysight Technologies.

Templeton holds a BA in product design from North Carolina State University, College of Design and an MBA from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business. He’s an active participant in many community and charitable organizations, and has received a number of prestigious leadership awards.

Tarkan Maner
Advisory Board Member

Tarkan Maner is a global executive operator, investor and adviser in IT. Operational/Investment areas of focus include security, software-defined infrastructure, social commerce, mobility, virtualization, converged infrastructures, contextual intelligence and cloud computing. Executive roles at Nexenta, Dell, Wyse, CA, IBM, Quest, and Sterling Software. Founding chairman of TechAmerica’s cloud computing commission. Serving on the boards/advisory boards of Anki, DocuSign, Teradici, Workspot, Bay Area Council, World Economic Forum’s Cyber-Security Alliance, Silicon Valley Education Foundation, and Silicon Valley Leadership Group, a coalition of senior executives to improve the quality of life for all citizens of the region and the world through its advocacy around public and private policy issues, from the mecca of innovation and progress, Silicon Valley.

Graduated from Istanbul Technical University in Turkey with a B.S. degree in Engineering Management. Received an MBA degree at Midwestern State University in Texas. Attended Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School. Andre Leibovici
Advisory Board Member

Andre Leibovici is a leading expert in the current area of virtualization, mobility and End User Computing.

Andre currently works at Datrium as Field CTO and VP for Solutions and Alliances. Previously also worked at Nutanix as a Sr. Director for Alliances Engineering and Vertical Alliances helping the company grow from 300 to 3000 employees, and at VMware as a Sr. Staff Architect in the CTO Office responsible for Horizon View innovation. Andre’s expertise is backed by 25+ years’ industry experience in IT and managing teams for large organizations.

Andre has authored two books on VDI and VMware Horizon View and also wrote over 600 articles and white papers on subjects such as security, virtualization, cloud computing, health IT and web-scale technologies. Andre is a frequent speaker including delivering the keynote addresses at many events across the globe. Andre has presented at Citrix Synergy as well as at 5 VMworld.

Andre is also involved with tech innovation, and angel investing and has mentored multiple Silicon Valley start-ups thru his association with Alchemist Accelerator, including YotaScale, Swipe, SalesIntel, Performance Sherpa, OpenChannel, Keewi, and Deferpanic.

Barry Phillips
Advisory Board Member

Barry Phillips is a seasoned Marketing executive with experience in both large and small companies.

Barry joined Maxta after being the CMO of Panzura, Egnyte and Wanova (acquired by VMware), where he led Marketing, Sales, and Business Development. Barry came to Wanova from Citrix Systems, where he was the Group Vice President and General Manager of the Delivery Center Product Group. Barry joined Citrix through the acquisition of Net6. He began his career in United States Naval Aviation where he logged over 1,000 hours in a P-3C Orion.

Barry holds a Bachelors of Computer Science from the United States Naval Academy and a Masters of Computer Science from UCLA.
